Offices are the spaces where employees spend time during the day. In the past, there were times when everyone worked in their cubicles. However, research demonstrated that this type of insulation for employees would reduce their motivation level. And thus, such structures have emerged, where the open office systems are supported by gaming spaces and supplemented by exciting elements such as arts of works and design works. As an interior designer in Istanbul, we pay particular importance to the effective use of spaces, the privacy achieved through elegant separators, socialization areas, and the use of lights in the projects we design. In addition, we attempt to establish a connection between the employees who feel isolated from nature in the big cities and soul.
Colourful details and common areas where people spend time together took an essential role in the designs of the projects Kolektif House Ataşehir and Facebook HUB. Natural elements, plants and walls that seem left unprocessed have created an exciting contrast. This design hosts many start-ups and new generation companies based on the concepts of creativity, flexibility and inspiration. They became such good benchmarks of co-working office space design. For the project, Darüşşafaka DMS Office, on the other hand, the walls made of glass and circular forms that appear from place to place has delivered both a circular and transparent approach to the high-end office design. We designed an entertaining and creative office with contrasting colours, a colourful café where employees could socialise, and meeting rooms separated by veil-like walls for the project Başbuğ Automotive HQ, in which we have made refurbishments considering the time spirit and future of office design trends.
We consider the employees' expectations as much as the requirements of our customers and their brands while designing an office for them. For the high-end office designs and executive office designs that we make based on global trends and in line with the company dynamics, we aim to ensure that the employees enjoy the spaces where they work and spend time. One of our modern office design examples is D.Ream, for which we carried out both the design and implementation stages and is based on a street theme. We have created a brilliant space with street lamps, benches, signboards, recreational areas in the form of a boulevard café, and high ceilings. And for the project Posco Assan at Zorlu Center, we have designed an open office system that receives sunlight, where the space is used correctly.
