The fit-out concept for an F&B project is intended to put the designed experience into practice in the best manner. It includes luxury restaurant fit-out, luxury cafe fit-out and so on. The experience of guests starts when they step in the door. The music played, the temperature of the space, the feeling of a step on the floor, the material of which the table is made, and many other aspects. And these are just those visible. A kitchen is the heart of a café or restaurant. The most important factor for a location to be successful may be the ability to put into practice that location in a secure and useful manner, considering the pace of life therein. In addition, a guest should feel privileged, calm and comfortable and then refreshed in a restroom area, which might be seen as a small detail but is an essential aspect of an F&B project.
As a high-end contract firm, YOO Architecture has put into practice the designs of famous designers worldwide. From time to time, the materials considered by a designer may be aesthetically impressive but unsuitable for the intended use of the respective location. As a project management company that has carried out the luxury fit-out processes for many F&B projects, we are expected to find the ideal material. However, while doing this, we should work in coordination with the designer so that we keep up with his original intention.
A high-end contract firm should think of the experience from beginning to end, i.e. rehearse it in a manner of speaking when carrying out a fit-out process for an F&B project. What kinds of drinks and sauces could be spilt on a table? Which type of floor should be used in a nightclub for maximum safety, considering chic women walking with thin heels? Being able to ask these types of questions required a comprehensive level of know-how derived from the experience of many years as a general contractor in the F&B sector.
The F&B projects we have put into practice up until today include Zuma, Nobu, Hakkasan, D Maris Kitchen, 29, La Guerite, La Petite Maison and Eataly. Among them, Hakkasan is one of the most recent luxury restaurant fit-out projects. As a top-tier chain of restaurants, where the world's famous Chinese cuisine is interpreted modernly, Hakkasan's design process was carried out by us acting together with their designer. We have adopted Hakkasan, a very characteristic location with special dining areas, traditional patterns, lighting, bars, wine cellars and various artworks, to Bodrum.
To make the portable furniture suitable for the location, we have assumed responsibility for the entire production and installation processes as a general contractor in Turkey. As one of the most attention-grabbing points of Hakkasan, the bar is inspired by the colour blue, which is the brand's trademark. And with the patterns from Hakkasan integrated with the blue glass and metal, it has become a work of art. The wine cellar consists of shelves made of a combination of plexiglass and light.
