Overview
D.ream, the entertainment and restaurant company of Doğuş Group, commissioned YOO Interior to design its 9,000 m² headquarters in Beşiktaş as a flexible and inspiring workplace for highly mobile employees. The project aimed to move away from the conventional office atmosphere and create a dynamic environment where employees could socialize, collaborate, and feel creatively motivated. The design concept was shaped around the idea of making employees feel “outside” rather than confined indoors. Inspired by urban life, the office features street-style signage, street-lamp-like lighting, cafés, restaurants, social areas, and recreational spaces that transform the workplace into a living environment rather than a traditional office.

An industrial design language was adopted to create a distinctive identity. Exposed lighting cables, metal ventilation pipes, concrete textures, brick walls, high ceilings, and loft-style interconnected spaces gave the office a raw yet contemporary character. Recycled materials, antique woodwork, aged bricks, and custom furniture further strengthened the unique atmosphere of the space.

Vintage details collected from antique shops added a timeless identity to the project, including original cinema seats from 1930s London installed in the reception area. Alongside the aesthetic approach, special attention was given to employee comfort through carefully designed lighting, ventilation, and heating systems.

Completed in 240 days at Büyükhanlı Plaza in Beşiktaş, D.ream became a vibrant workplace featuring restaurants, a culinary school, and multiple social spaces where over 300 employees continue to work, interact, and create every day.
