Overview
Wepublic is one of YOO Interior's luxury retail fit-out projects in Turkey, developed for Boyner Group within Akmerkez Shopping Center. Spanning 8,000 m² across four floors, the project was completed in 9 months with YOO Interior acting as the general contractor. The scope included heavy steel construction, custom fabrications, furniture and material supply, and the coordination of three international design groups: GAD, HMKM London, and Universal Design Studio London.

Designed around the dynamic spirit of Istanbul, Wepublic brings together nearly 500 local and international brands, including 80 shop-in-shop concepts, alongside pop-up areas, terraces, and workshop spaces. The project required extensive R&D and coordination due to the wide range of materials sourced both locally and internationally.
Designed around the dynamic spirit of Istanbul, Wepublic brings together nearly 500 local and international brands, including 80 shop-in-shop concepts, alongside pop-up areas, terraces, and workshop spaces. The project required extensive R&D and coordination due to the wide range of materials sourced both locally and internationally. One of the project’s defining features was its fluid architectural language. Complex entrance gates, atrium areas, custom arches, integrated lighting systems, and large-scale installations were produced through advanced modelling and fabrication techniques, creating one of the first applications of this design approach in Turkey.
By combining innovative production methods, material research, and a solution-oriented approach, YOO Interior delivered a contemporary retail environment that reflects both the energy of Istanbul and a unique shopping experience.
