SCROLL DOWN

Overview
The construction processes of the 1050 m², three-floor restaurant project were carried out by YOO Interior. One of the most distinctive elements of the project was the bespoke “Dream Machine,” composed of specially designed beer tanks suspended from the ceiling. Industrial metals and custom pipe systems were integrated throughout the space to strengthen the overall concept. The lighting system connected to these pipes was designed with automation scenarios that could adapt to different events and atmospheres, creating a dynamic spatial experience.

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES DURING A HIGH-END RESTAURANT FIT-OUT During the fit-out process, the metal tanks were produced heavier than initially calculated, requiring structural reinforcement on the ceiling. Acoustic paint was removed, MDF support systems were added, and several design revisions were implemented accordingly. This process highlighted the importance of fast decision-making and flexible coordination in high-end contract projects.

THE ACOUSTIC OF A LUXURY RESTAURANT FIT-OUT Acoustic performance was one of the key priorities of the project due to both the location of the venue and the neighboring Angie Club project within the same premises. Custom acoustic panel solutions were developed on-site, while acoustic paint, perforated panels, and fire-retardant velvet curtains were used to enhance sound control and preserve the space's atmosphere.

FINALIZING A HIGH-END CONTRACT The project was completed within six months through the coordination of local and international teams. The main architectural approach focused on creating a strong sense of openness and volumetric spaciousness through the gallery area at the center of the venue. Combining creative design solutions, technical precision, and efficient project management, The Populist became a remarkable example of a contemporary luxury restaurant fit-out.
